About Me

My name is Jon Supnick. I am originally from Seattle and moved to Portland, OR in Fall of 2007. I began my interest in Design over 10 years ago and I still get excited when I have a fun project to work on. My work started with a focus in Web Design, but I soon found myself favoring identity design. I love the idea of helping people create a new or improved image for their company or product. When I walk down the street and see an interesting logo, I will stop and study it. Wondering why the designer made the choices they did. Why did they choose that image? What are they trying to represent? Who are they marketing this for? What things would I change?

I deeply enjoy establishing a positive, working relationship with my clients. People feel at ease knowing they have someone dependable they can turn to when they need work done. They enjoy knowing there is someone who will respond positively to questions or give advice when it is needed. Knowing they have “people”. I am open to client input, whether it be creative or other. I enjoy working collaboratively with my clients to be sure that I capture what it is they want to convey. I find it refreshing to see a client get involved in a project and really let me know what they want. Don’t worry about being blunt, I am my biggest critic.

I am a designer who is ready to take a project as far as it will go, from the beginning of an idea all the way through to a complete interactive and graphic identity. If you have a project that you are just itching to start, I would love to work with you. Please send a message to me through the contact form and let me know what you need. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for reading.
